Job Responsibilities As a leisure time teacher, you will lead the leisure time team, lead development work, and have knowledge of scheduling. As a leisure time teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on safe, stimulating, and educational leisure activities. You work from the students' needs and interests and create meaningful leisure time through play, creative activities, movement, and social interaction. You collaborate with school staff and contribute to students' development, learning, and safety throughout the entire school day. We are looking for you to work as a student assistant and resource staff at our school and after-school program. Preliminary start date Monday, October 12 You have experience working with children in elementary school grades F to 6. Perhaps you have previously worked as a student assistant or after-school leader. Your tasks will be focused on our after-school activities in the afternoons, as well as working as a student assistant at school during parts of the school day.
