JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as a truck painter, you will work with surface preparation, painting, and finishing work on trucks, vehicle parts, and other large components. The work requires precision and a keen eye for finish and quality.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Surface preparation for painting
Sanding, filling, and masking
Primer and paint application on trucks and vehicle parts
Mixing and handling paint and coatings
Spray painting with professional painting equipment
Inspecting color, finish, and quality after completed work
Corrections and finishing work as needed
Cleaning and basic maintenance of tools and equipment
Contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-organized workplace
PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and practical. You have an eye for detail and care about delivering high-quality work. You enjoy working both independently and with others.
For success in this role, we would like you to have:
Experience in vehicle painting, industrial painting, or similar work
Experience with spray painting
Knowledge of sanding, filling, masking, and other preparatory work
Understanding of paint mixing and different types of coating materials
Ability to work precisely and with quality focus
Good ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
Good knowledge of Swedish or English
Education in vehicle painting, industrial painting, or painting trades is a plus, but relevant work experience can carry equal weight.
It is also advantageous if you have previously worked with trucks, buses, construction equipment, or other large vehicles and components.
ABOUT THE POSITION
This role is ideal for you if you appreciate practical work where precision, quality, and excellent results are at the center. You will work in a workshop environment alongside experienced colleagues and have the opportunity to develop your skills in vehicle painting.
The position is long-term and begins with a six-month employment via Eterni. The aim is for the position to transition to a permanent contract after the six-month assignment.
