The apartments are distributed across two units on two different floors, both with a focus on high-level care. Within Falun Municipality, we offer reduced working hours for nursing assistants/care assistants, which means you will work 36 hours/week on a full-time basis. Job Responsibilities Working in residential care gives you a concrete opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. The job responsibilities include providing good care and service to our clients. Our clients' needs guide our work tasks and may include assisting with personal care, support during meals, service tasks, and social activities. The work involves motivating, supporting, and when needed, helping the client in all daily situations. Our mandate is to work according to the client's care plan. The care plan describes the service and how the client wishes to receive the services; it is a tool in our work. The job also includes some administrative tasks, which means you must be able to document according to specified guidelines and take responsibility for following up on tasks delegated by colleagues, the unit manager, or professionals such as nurses, occupational therapists, or physiotherapists. The work can be both physically and mentally demanding. Qualifications For the role we require: Completion of a 3-year high school nursing program or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent Previous experience working in health care and social services Experience using computers and mobile devices in work Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written Previous experience administering medications and insulin Personal Qualities We're looking for someone with a strong interest and commitment to working with people! Falun Municipality applies the full-time agreement, which means that full-time is a right and part-time is an option; you therefore have the opportunity to influence how much you want to work.
