The Quality Unit is an important part of the Care Administration. Our mission is to contribute to the operations maintaining high quality, legal compliance, and offering safe and secure care. We work closely with the operations and are both a support and a driving force in development – with a focus on creating conditions for a structured and sustainable approach. With us, several specialist functions meet, which creates a dynamic work environment where different competencies have a place and strengthen each other. Here, among others, a medically responsible nurse (MAS), medically responsible for rehabilitation (MAR), socially responsible coordinator (SAS), dietitian, dementia nurse, registrar, and board secretary work side by side. Together we share knowledge, support each other, and contribute to a whole that makes a difference in operations. In everyday work, this means close collaboration, dialogue, and a culture where development and curiosity are encouraged. Care Administration's work is based on a shared value foundation where security is central. The Quality Unit therefore has an important role in creating structures and approaches that make this possible in practice. Job Responsibilities As unit manager for the Quality Unit, you will have a central role in leading and developing work with quality, legal compliance, and governance. You are responsible for planning, leading, and distributing work within the unit and have personnel responsibility for employees in the unit. Together, you create conditions for operations characterized by structure, quality, and continuity. In your assignment, you have overall responsibility for the unit's work. This includes, among other things, leading and developing the management system for systematic quality work, being responsible for quality and contract monitoring, and ensuring that work is conducted with high patient safety. You are also responsible for areas such as board administration, registry and archives, as well as issues relating to information security, data protection, and compliance with legislation, including GDPR. An important part of the work is creating an overview of a complex operation. You gather, analyze, and structure information that becomes an important basis for governance, monitoring, and development. With a curious and solution-oriented approach, you drive the development of working methods, processes, and systematics within the quality area. You also have a supporting role toward the operations, where you contribute to ensuring that managers and employees have the right conditions to work in a structured manner and in accordance with applicable legislation. This also includes developing and maintaining the use of operational systems and quality tools, such as Platina and Treserva. The role is both strategic and operational. You are expected to take a comprehensive approach and drive development forward, while stepping in and contributing to daily work when needed. Qualifications The role requires Higher education such as social worker, political scientist, lawyer, or other area that the employer deems equivalent Experience leading strategic development and/or investigative work Experience working in a politically governed organization at a strategic level Experience in management or leadership Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is attentive, flexible, and aware of how your decisions impact both employees and operations. Meriting Qualifications Good knowledge and insight into municipal operations and current legislation Experience with systematic quality work and operations monitoring Experience working with quality work in care and elderly care Terms of Employment The position is a permanent full-time employment starting by agreement.
