About the Operation Orthopedics in Dalarna will be consolidated under one common operations manager as of 2026-01-01. The Orthopedic Clinic at Mora Hospital, together with the Orthopedic Clinic in Falun, forms the combined Dala Orthopedics. The Orthopedic Clinic at Mora Hospital provides orthopedic outpatient and inpatient care. The operation consists of an orthopedic clinic that receives 15,000 visits annually and an inpatient ward with 24 beds. The Orthopedic Clinic is an important part of Mora Hospital as a surgical acute hospital. Operative work includes both acute and elective procedures (hip, knee, shoulder, foot, and some hand surgery). Proximity to Dalarnas mountain tourism brings a large influx of acute orthopedic patients during winter months, which has significantly contributed to the clinic's high level of expertise in fracture surgery. The clinic ranks highly in multiple orthopedic quality registers. Orthopedic operations take place at the central operating room, a day surgery operating unit, and at the orthopedic clinic where minor procedures are performed under local anesthesia. Approximately 2,500 orthopedic operations per year are performed at the operating units. Close collaboration occurs with the OR/Anesthesia/ICU clinic and other departments at Mora Hospital, as well as with the Orthopedic Clinic in Falun. Beyond this, we have close collaboration with UAS, USÖ, and Sarkomcentrum at KS. Responsibilities As one of two first-line managers, you will have operational, personnel, work environment, and budget responsibility for the team on Department 41.
