Work as a Digital Homework Tutor!

Do you want to make a difference? 19,916 students did not complete compulsory school in Sweden during the 2023/2024 school year. There are schools where 7 out of 10 students do not meet upper secondary school eligibility requirements. At the non-profit Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen, you contribute your skills and commitment to help more students achieve eligibility requirements with confidence for the future. We are now hiring new digital homework tutors! We are looking for you if you are interested in a paid part-time job and at the same time want to make a concrete social impact. The position is hourly employment in the afternoons/evenings and involves, in short, being a digital homework tutor after school as part of our digital program. As a digital homework tutor, you meet students online and support them in their schoolwork via digital tools. You work in a team with other tutors and receive training in, and work according to, our structured approach and method. A central part of the assignment is relationship building. As a digital homework tutor, you need to be able to "break through the screen," create safety, and build trusting relationships with students despite the physical distance. You are present, engaged, and attentive, and understand how important relationships are for students' motivation, study environment, and development. As a homework tutor, you can either work as a regular digital homework tutor or as a substitute. As a regular tutor, you work approximately 6 hours per week, divided across two scheduled afternoons/evenings (with the possibility of extra substitute shifts). As a substitute, you work as needed when regular tutors are absent. The work is entirely digital. We are looking for you if you: Are a university or college student. Have strong pedagogical skills and can communicate clearly, engagedly, and in a relationship-building manner with children and young people in digital environments. Are comfortable leading and participating in digital meetings and find it easy to establish contact and trust online. Are solution-oriented, proactive, and can work according to our structured approach and method. Have broad foundational subject knowledge and good study techniques. Share Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen's values and vision of a society where all children grow up with the capacity to succeed in school and shape their own future. Since the work involves working with children, we place great emphasis on personal suitability. Providing an extract from the police's criminal record register to the employer is a legal requirement for working with children and young people. The differences between schools, where you live, where you come from, and what your parents do increasingly determine your chances of succeeding in school. Stiftelsen Läxhjälpen is a non-profit foundation that operates where it is needed most. Läxhjälpen is free for students, and tutor salaries are financed through support from the business sector and public sector. Läxhjälpen is a concrete initiative that tackles one of Sweden's greatest challenges today - an increasing number of young people not succeeding in school and risking being left out of society. Carefully selected, paid college students help young people with their studies two evenings a week and are also positive role models and mentors. Since our founding in 2007, we have developed a structured approach and a clear goal - to improve grades and help students progress to upper secondary school. Today we operate in over 90 schools in, among others, Stockholm, Södertälje, Västerås, Norrköping, Göteborg, Landskrona, Umeå, Sundsvall, Uppsala, Gävle, and Malmö. Operational Sales Manager at Brandsäkra

Job Description & Offer Are you a driven B2B sales professional who loves closing deals and gets equally energized by helping others succeed? Do you want to stay close to your customers while having the opportunity to lead, coach, and develop a sales team? Then this could be your next step. Brandsäkra is now hiring an Operational Sales Manager responsible for the sales team in Stockholm and Gothenburg. This is not a role where you lead from the sidelines. You're in the game yourself, driving your own deals and showing the way by doing. As Operational Sales Manager, you'll play a central role in Brandsäkra's continued growth. The role combines your own B2B sales with operational leadership, with approximately 50% of your time dedicated to your own deals and 50% to leading, coaching, and developing the sales team. You'll manage a team of seven sales professionals split between Stockholm and Gothenburg. Together, you'll primarily work with housing cooperatives and property management companies, helping customers with preventive fire safety solutions. In your own sales work, you'll manage the entire process—from prospecting and initial contact to customer meetings, negotiations, and signed contracts. In parallel, you'll monitor the team's results, coach the salespeople, conduct joint visits, and help them develop and reach their targets. This role suits you if you think sales should be fun, you like clear goals and a fast pace, and you want to build a culture where you challenge and support each other. Your main areas of responsibility include: • Drive new customer sales from prospecting to close. • Lead, coach, and develop salespeople in Stockholm and Gothenburg. • Set goals and track activities, KPIs, and sales results. • Conduct joint customer visits and coach salespeople practically in customer dialogues and meetings. • Distribute leads and help the team prioritize the right business opportunities. • Contribute to recruiting and onboarding new salespeople. • Develop sales processes, working methods, and training materials together with management. • Collaborate with other departments and Brandsäkra's fire safety consultants to create the right solution for customers. Why Work at Brandsäkra: Here you have the opportunity to take a clear next step in your sales career without choosing between sales and leadership. You continue making your own deals while gaining greater responsibility for people, results, and development. Brandsäkra is a growing company where the path from idea to decision is short, and you have the opportunity to influence how the sales organization will work going forward. You'll have the mandate to prioritize the team's daily work and distribute business opportunities, while also being involved in recruiting future colleagues. You'll join an environment with high ambitions, great energy, and a clear results focus, where the team is just as important as the individual. Here, it should be rewarding to perform, develop, and win deals together. And above all, you're selling something that truly matters—better preventive fire safety and safer properties. Candidate Profile Above all, we're looking for someone who is a salesperson at heart. You love the hunt for new customers, you're driven by closing deals, and you've demonstrated your ability to deliver results in B2B sales. At the same time, you don't need to have been a sales manager for many years. Perhaps you're a senior salesperson today, a team lead, or you've taken on informal leadership responsibilities and discovered you enjoy coaching colleagues. What matters is that you have a natural drive to bring others along and want to take greater responsibility for a team's development. As a person, we believe you're positive, social, and energetic. You build trust easily, you like people, and you bring energy to the group. You're unpretentious and can be just as happy when a colleague closes a big deal as when you do it yourself. At the same time, there's a clear competitive spirit in you. You like goals, you track your numbers, and you constantly want to find ways to improve. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: • Several years of experience in B2B sales with a focus on new customer acquisition. • Documented strong sales results. • Experience coaching, leading, or developing others—formally or informally. • Strong personal sales drive and a desire to continue closing your own deals. • Ability to create energy, engagement, and clarity in a team. • A structured work approach and experience working toward goals and tracking results. • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing. • Valid driver's license. Other Information Start: By agreement. Scope: Full-time, permanent employment. Working hours: 8 a.m.–5 p.m. with flexibility options. Location: Danderyd, Stockholm, with responsibility for the team in Gothenburg as well. Compensation: Fixed salary plus commission/bonus tied to both your own and the team's results. PerformIQ—recruitment of personnel with qualities from sports/community work—is our partner, and we refer any questions about the position to Recruitment Consultant Jannica Skärvinge at 073-353 75 10. Submit your application today as interviews are conducted on a rolling basis. The position may be filled before the final application deadline. We look forward to your application! Company Presentation Brandsäkra Norden AB helps property owners, housing cooperatives, and property managers create safer and more systematic fire safety. The company's vision is clear: no one should lose their life in a property fire.
