What you'll do As Business Controller, you're an important business partner to our stores. Your task is to provide insights that help the operations make well-informed decisions and develop profitability. In the role, you'll, among other things: Monitor, analyze, and report the stores' financial results. Analyze sales, margins, costs, and other key figures to identify deviations and development opportunities. Translate analyses into concrete recommendations and activities together with the operations. Be financial support and an advisory partner to the operations. Contribute to budget, forecast, and monitoring processes. Work with reports, data models, and analysis materials in, among others, Excel and MicroStrategy. Develop and monitor financial and administrative procedures in stores. Participate in operations development projects and improvement initiatives. Handle certain ongoing financial administrative tasks and provide support to the operations in finance-related matters. This is an operations-focused controller role where you get to combine analysis with dialogue, collaboration, and concrete business impact. What we expect We're looking for someone who can analyze financial relationships and translate insights into recommendations that create value for the operations. You have strong communication skills and can clearly and pedagogically explain financial relationships and conclusions to different audiences. We believe you have: Post-secondary education in finance or equivalent. Several years of experience from work within controlling, financial analysis, or similar field. Good skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools, as well as experience working with large amounts of data. Ability to analyze outcomes, identify deviations, and understand underlying causes. Good understanding of financial relationships and basic accounting. A curious and business-oriented approach and dare to challenge to contribute to better decisions. Good ability to independently plan, prioritize, and drive your work forward. It's a merit if you have: Experience from retail, retail trade, restaurants, or other customer-facing operations. Experience with SAP and BI tools.
