Job Responsibilities Do you want to build the scientific foundation for Swedish nitrocellulose? We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow for the Svenskt Krut competence center at KTH, where academia, government agencies, and industry work together to strengthen Sweden's capabilities in nitrocellulose (NC). In the project, we are establishing a reliable analytical package for nitrocellulose. Your role is to develop and validate methods for NC's most important properties – including degree of substitution, molecular weight and molecular weight distribution, moisture and residual acid content, as well as stability and energy content – and to manage a comparative measurement study (round-robin) between KTH, FOI, and industry. You will characterize ongoing NC batches for a shared sample bank, build a reference database, and use AI-supported data analysis to compare quality and identify deviations. The work takes place at the Department of Fiber and Polymer Technology and in close collaboration with FOI, with at least one extended work visit there. Qualifications Requirements Completed doctoral degree or foreign degree assessed as equivalent to a doctoral degree. This qualification requirement must be fulfilled by the time the employment decision is made. Documented scientific competence in cellulose, fiber, or polymer chemistry, demonstrated through publications. About the Role As a Senior Accounting Specialist, you will have a consultative and business-oriented role where you manage your own client portfolio with both Swedish and international customers. You work closely with your clients and function as an advisory partner while ensuring high quality in delivery and contributing to the development of their finance function. You will be part of Greenstep's accounting team with just over 40 employees distributed across five teams. In addition to qualified accounting work, you will have the opportunity to work with consulting assignments in areas such as budgeting, operational analysis, cash flow analysis, and consolidated accounting. You will also contribute to the team's development by supporting and sharing your knowledge with junior colleagues. The role includes: Managing your own client portfolio and ensuring high quality in deliveries. Working with ongoing accounting and preparing monthly, period, and annual financial statements. Preparing annual reports, tax calculations, and income tax returns. Providing qualified advice and financial reporting to clients. Participating in consulting assignments in areas such as budgeting, operational analysis, cash flow analysis, and consolidated accounting. Identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to the development and efficiency of clients' financial processes. Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues through knowledge sharing and coaching. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is confident in their accounting expertise and enjoys a consultative role with many contact points. You work independently and in a structured manner while appreciating collaboration with colleagues and contributing to the team's collective success. You are motivated by creating long-term customer relationships and driven by finding solutions that create value for the customer. At the same time, you have a strong focus on quality and an interest in developing with new ways of working, digitalization, and changing customer needs. Qualifications: University or college degree in economics or accounting. At least five years of experience with qualified accounting work. At least five years of experience working independently with financial statements, annual reports, tax calculations, and returns. Experience working with larger and more complex companies or international corporations. Good system knowledge and experience with various business and accounting systems. Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Meritorious: Experience from an accounting firm or other consulting firm. Experience working in a multi-client environment. Authorization as an accounting consultant. Experience with NetSuite, Fortnox, Capego, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. Interest in digitalization and development of financial processes.
