CE-Driver Night Shift 4-Day Week Permanent Position Based in Lunda/Spånga

We are now recruiting one or two drivers with a CE driving license, forklift certification, YKB, and preferably ADR or at least ADR 1.3 for a permanent assignment with one of our most important and valued customers who operates for DSV and is based in Lunda in Spånga. Sverigelots provides personnel and transport solutions within the transport sector. We are an established staffing company in the logistics industry. We have always enjoyed delivering skilled drivers to our customers for both short and long-term assignments. We are now recruiting one or two drivers with a CE driving license, forklift certification, and preferably ADR for a permanent position. The position(s) are intended to start relatively soon, so if you are interested, apply or contact us directly by phone for more information. We welcome calls and questions about the positions on weekdays between 10:00-16:00 at the number provided below. You will be part of our friendly team of positive, cheerful, and responsible colleagues. As a person, you are hardworking, positive, humble, unpretentious, reliable, and have the ambition to always do your best—someone we can trust completely. We are recruiting a couple of drivers with CE licenses for full-time night shifts on a 4-night week schedule. Working hours are approximately 17:30-04:15. The operation is based from the DSV terminal in Lunda where you will also finish your shift. You will handle some of the loading and unloading yourself, so experience with forklift operation and understanding how to double-stack and arrange pallets/cartons/crates properly so everything fits but still arrives undamaged is important. The work is not particularly physically demanding but is of a typical nature for terminal loading and unloading. We absolutely welcome people in their 50s and 60s as this is work we believe suits reliable men and women with life experience exceptionally well. If you are eligible for any form of employment support, such as a Nystartsjobb program, please mention it in your application as this is always of interest to us. The job is independent; you essentially have no manager looking over your shoulder, so it is important that we feel confident that you are a responsible person who can actually keep to schedules and be present when you should be, even if no one is watching you. You do not need to be an expert at reversing with a truck and trailer as there are only a couple of reversing maneuvers/passes in the same gates and locations, BUT you must have sufficient good judgment and experience to avoid damage to vehicles and goods—THIS IS IMPORTANT! You always instinctively think: I would rather get out of the truck and look one more time instead of taking a chance when reversing. You will get to try the job for one or a couple of shifts, partly so we can see that you have the necessary experience and the right attitude, and partly so you also have the opportunity to test the job at your own pace in the presence of one of our skilled colleagues and get a feel for whether the job is right for you. We will not leave you on your own until you feel confident that you have control of the job. We are happy to practice reversing and drive with you until you feel secure. ADR is essentially a must, or at minimum 1.3. Qualifications: CE driving license, YKB, digital driver card, forklift certification, and the ability to express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing are important. Furthermore, we expect you to be whole and clean, take responsibility for your vehicle, as it is very much your vehicle. In this case, after just over a year of doing honorable and good work, there are good opportunities to transition to work directly for the customer if that is something you want. Owning your own car is not a requirement but is very helpful as public transport is irregular during your working hours. About the job: The job is varied and engaging, but requires that you can be efficient with loading when needed and work effectively, ONCE YOU HAVE GOTTEN INTO A ROUTINE WITH THE JOB. There are time schedules that must be kept, of course as long as nothing extraordinary happens. But that said, it is pleasant driving with a lot of solo time in the cab, and as the setup is now you actually have your own and the same truck which is convenient. You keep the truck clean yourself and even though it is not particularly new, it should still be taken care of. Pay is for hours worked, on a full-time basis and well-paid according to agreement. Welcome to submit your application to [email protected] & please indicate CE-Driver as reference or call if you have any questions. About the employer Sverigelots provides personnel and transport solutions within the transport sector and has been active in transport since the 1990s. Since our start we have had steady growth with very satisfied customers. Everyone who works at Sverigelots is fundamentally a driver. We value our most important resource—our staff! Recruitment is ongoing and it can happen quickly, so do not delay applying if you think the job suits you. We welcome your application. //Team Sverigelots Open to all We focus on your skills, not your other circumstances. We are open to adapting the role or workplace according to your needs.
