The Department of Subject Matter Education has approximately 280 employees. Project Description The dissertation work will be conducted within the framework of doctoral education in science education. The dissertation project is directed toward primary school grades 4–9 and/or upper secondary school, focusing on the significance of teaching for students' interest in science. Interest develops in social contexts, at home and in school, and encompasses cognitive, aesthetic, and normative aspects of wanting and being able to participate in science-related contexts. The project may advantageously include instructional design and modeling, conducted in close collaboration with the teaching profession. The empirical studies shall be carried out in Swedish schools. Eligibility Requirements To be admitted to doctoral education, applicants must have both general and specific eligibility. Eligibility must be fulfilled by the final application deadline. General eligibility for education at the doctoral level is held by those who have completed a degree at the advanced level, fulfilled course requirements of at least 240 higher education credits, of which at least 60 higher education credits are at the advanced level, or acquired knowledge in some other way, within or outside the country, substantially equivalent to the above. Customer Service and Phone Support As an insurance claims handler specializing in phone support, you will work on a scheduled basis answering questions about sickness insurance, such as sickness benefits and rehabilitation compensation. Most questions come by phone, but general inquiries can also come by email. Part of your job is to document in our processing systems according to set standards and with support from guidance documents. You will be part of a team where you actively work to develop your knowledge and share experiences. You are often the customer's first contact with Försäkringskassan when they are ill. Therefore, you need to be interested in and skilled at quickly identifying the customer's needs and guiding the person in our e-services. This way, you help the customer gain an overview and feel secure in their contact with Försäkringskassan. Every customer's situation is unique, and everyone should be treated based on their specific needs. You therefore need to be attentive and respectful.
