Advanced radar warning and signal intelligence systems require electronics, software, and mechanics to function as an integrated whole. As a Systems Engineer, you will work in the midst of technical development and follow systems from requirements and design through integration and verification. This role suits you if you already have experience from a related technical field and now want to broaden your technical understanding and take on greater responsibility for complex systems.
About the Position:
As a systems engineer, you will have a coordinating role where you are responsible for ensuring that the different parts of the system together achieve the desired function and capability. You work closely with project and product management as well as engineers in electronics, design, software, testing, verification, and production.
The work gives you a broad understanding of the entire system. You manage requirements, follow the development of underlying subsystems, and actively participate in integration, testing, and verification. The role also includes documentation and management of technical issues that need to be investigated and escalated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate technical matters between different engineering disciplines
- Work with system requirements and follow up on underlying subsystems
- Follow the system through development, integration, and verification
- Actively participate in testing and handle technical issues
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Work with component management to ensure long-term system availability
We are looking for you who:
- Hold a civil or technical engineering degree in electronics, mechatronics, engineering physics, aerospace engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Have at least one year of relevant work experience
- Have experience from technical development or work with complex technical systems
- Speak and write fluent Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work
It is a merit if you have experience in electronics development, for example in embedded systems, RF, or sensor systems.
Great importance will be placed on your personal qualities. We believe that you are structured and have a knack for grasping the bigger picture of complex technical issues. You take initiative, drive your work forward, and follow up on what needs to be resolved. Since the role involves many contact points, you also need to be able to communicate technical matters clearly and collaborate with people from different parts of the organization.
