Customer Service and Phone Support
As an insurance case handler with a focus on phone support, you work on a scheduled basis answering questions about sick leave insurance, such as sick pay and rehabilitation compensation. Most questions come by phone, but general inquiries can also come by email. It is part of your job to document in our case management systems according to a given standard and with the support of guidance documents. You are part of a team where you actively work to develop your knowledge and share experiences.
You are often the customer's first contact with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency when they are ill. Therefore, you need to be interested in and skilled at quickly identifying the customer's needs and guiding the person through our e-services. This way, you help the customer gain an overview and feel secure in their contact with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. Every customer's situation is unique and all should be treated according to their specific needs. You therefore need to be attentive and respectful. Many of our customers are in difficult situations in life, which can mean that some conversations can be challenging. Then you need to show empathy, but at the same time be objective based on the requirements of the sick leave insurance regulations.
As a new employee, you will receive introductory training and support from your manager, designated mentors, and various support functions, such as a specialist. Based on the organization's goals and mission, you and your manager also have a dialogue about your conditions and results.
This position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, as someone working for us, have high security awareness.

Other Information
Several positions, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. Probation may be applicable. Some positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive activities. To be employed in such a position, you must pass a security vetting according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
