Account Manager at PerformIQ Stockholm
Job Description & Offer We're growing – do you want to grow with us? We're now looking for an Account Manager who wants to join our team in Stockholm and be part of our continued journey. We don't recruit to our own team every day. Usually, we're the ones handpicking talent for our clients, but this time we're looking for a new colleague for ourselves. At PerformIQ, we work with people and organizations across many different industries, with particularly strong presence in the sports sector but of course also in the business world. One day you might discuss a skills need with a commercial manager, the next day with a secretary general, CEO, or operations manager. We are generalists and that's exactly how we like it. This means we're constantly learning about new operations, understanding new challenges, and acquiring new knowledge. You'll never be fully trained here. You'll be challenged by our clients, by the market, and not least by your colleagues. Because we like people who want to win. But even more, we like people who want to win together. Working with us, you'll collaborate with like-minded, winners who set high goals, go the extra mile for our clients, and help each other when needed. We believe in high ambitions, high pace, and constantly trying to be a little better than we were yesterday and especially better than our competitors. And when we succeed? Then we celebrate. Sometimes it's an after-work on Friday where we sum up the week together. Sometimes it's Midnattsloppet that puts us to the test. And sometimes we pack our bags for our annual trips abroad where work, community, and plenty of time together are on the agenda. We're also not strangers to what we preach – we stay fit together with consistent lunch training scheduled in the building's private gym. We work hard. We have high expectations of each other. And we have a lot of fun along the way. What will you do? Your task is actually quite simple to describe: create new business and ensure it grows. How you do it, however, will require curiosity, persistence, and serious business drive. As an Account Manager, you own the entire customer journey. You identify companies and organizations we should work with, make first contact, book meetings, and get to know the customer's operations. From there, it's about understanding what the customer actually needs and showing how PerformIQ can help them through recruitment and staffing. You'll prospect, call, email, book and conduct meetings, negotiate, close deals, and write contracts. But the deal doesn't end when the contract is signed. You continue to own the relationship, develop the partnership, and find new opportunities together with the customer. And you don't do it alone. Behind you are recruitment consultants and consultant managers who work daily to find, assess, and handpick the right people. When you create the deal, we ensure together that the delivery is so good that the customer wants to work with us again. And again. Candidate Profile We care less about which industry tops your CV and more about what you've actually achieved in sales. You have experience with B2B sales and know what it means to create a deal from scratch. You don't depend on someone else filling your calendar – you're comfortable identifying potential customers yourself, picking up the phone, and creating your own opportunities. You can have a first call with someone you've never met before and a few weeks later be sitting in negotiations about a long-term partnership. To succeed with us, you therefore need experience with: • B2B sales • Booking meetings with new customers yourself via phone and email • Conducting both digital and in-person sales meetings • Driving a sales process from first contact to closing • Negotiating, closing deals, and writing contracts • Following up and developing the customer after the first deal You don't need to know recruitment and staffing when you start. We'll teach you that. A valid driver's license is required. Personal Qualities We could write that you should be driven, social, engaged, and results-oriented. But that's in pretty much every job posting. So we'll say it this way instead: You need to want something. You enjoy performing and are motivated by setting a goal that's not completely obvious to reach. You have the grit to continue when you hear "no" and the self-confidence to ask for the deal when you feel the time is right. At the same time, even the most individualistic person in the world won't thrive with us. At PerformIQ, we care about our own results, but also about how the person next to us is doing. We share ideas, help each other, celebrate each other's deals, and step in when someone needs an extra hand. That's why you need to be a genuine team player who both wants to develop yourself and contribute to making the team better. We like people with competitive spirit, energy, curiosity, and self-awareness. If you have a sports background yourself, you'll probably recognize a lot of our culture, but it's not a requirement. What matters is that you understand the feeling of wanting to be a little better today than you were yesterday. Company Presentation PerformIQ is an authorized staffing and recruitment company with roots in sports and a conviction that qualities like drive, teamwork, perseverance, and responsibility make a difference even off the field. Every day we're trusted to find people who will make our clients' organizations better. It's a responsibility we take seriously, but we don't believe professionalism has to mean suits, elbows, and stiff corridors. With us, you get high ambitions without pretense. Competition without sharp elbows. Freedom with responsibility. Colleagues who challenge you when needed and back you when it matters. We're not just looking for someone who wants a new sales job. We're looking for a new teammate. Scope: Full-time Location: Hammarby Sjöstad, Stockholm Start: By agreement
