Do you want to lead people and develop a service delivery that contributes to attractive and efficient workplaces? At RISE, you can combine close and engaged leadership with responsibility for quality, finance, and development. We are now looking for a confident and service-oriented group manager who wants to make a difference – both for employees and for the organization. About Us As Sweden's research institute and innovation partner, we shape the future. Through groundbreaking research and development, we help Swedish companies grow, strengthen their competitiveness, and meet tomorrow's challenges. With us, expertise and curiosity meet in a dynamic environment where innovation is at the center. RISE doesn't need to invent its purpose – We are a force for the sustainable transformation that industry, society, and the world need. About the Role As group manager, you will be part of RISE's Property and Service (FoS) function, in the Service unit where you report to the Head of Service and are part of the unit's management group. You will lead and distribute work for a group of approximately ten employees within the service unit. This position is a fixed-term employment for one year starting in February 2027. The unit is responsible for a broad range of workplace-related services, such as switchboard, reception, goods handling, facility cleaning, work clothes, and plants. You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery maintains the right quality, is monitored, and developed. The role also includes finance, budgeting, resource planning, and operational management of procured agreements and outsourced operations. The position is based in Stockholm and the role includes travel within Sweden. We currently operate on a hybrid work arrangement where most employees choose to divide their working time between the office and working from home. Your tasks and responsibilities include: • Lead, distribute, and monitor the group's work. • Ensure stable and service-oriented delivery of services. • Be responsible for personnel, work environment, and employee development. • Plan resources and substitutes based on operational needs. • Be responsible for finance, budgeting, and quality monitoring. • Monitor suppliers, agreements, and outsourced operations. • Actively contribute to the management group and continued business development. Who Are You? You are a confident and clear leader who creates structure, engagement, and momentum. You have strong service orientation, are unpretentious, and thrive in a role where you switch between operational issues and follow-up. You collaborate well with many different contacts, communicate clearly, and make pragmatic decisions when circumstances change. You work independently and carefully, but always with the big picture and the organization's needs in focus. To succeed in the role, you also need to be business-minded and comfortable with financial monitoring, key performance indicators, and target-based management. Requirements: • Documented management experience. • Several years of broad experience in service operations or other workplace-related services. • Experience with budgeting, finance, and financial monitoring. • Relevant post-secondary education in, for example, service, facility management, finance, administration, leadership, or equivalent work experience. • You express yourself fluently and professionally in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. • Good proficiency with Microsoft 365 and working towards set goals. Meritorious: • Experience in Facility Management and knowledge of Aff. • Experience with LOU, procurement, or supplier management. • Experience in change management. Are We Right for Each Other? At RISE, we value diversity and we are convinced that diversity contributes to an innovative environment where we together challenge boundaries and develop new knowledge and skills for the future. You will work in a dynamic environment that gives you development opportunities both professionally and personally. With us, you get the opportunity to make a real difference. Welcome with your application! If this sounds interesting and you want to know more, you are welcome to contact recruiting manager Tony Flykt, [email protected]. The application deadline is September 27, 2026. We will begin screening and interviews on an ongoing basis during the application period.
