About the Workplace The Social Services Department's main mission is to offer individualized support and services within elderly care, functional disabilities, children and families, adults, and financial assistance. We are present for community residents throughout all stages of life. Within elderly care, there are four special housing facilities, home care including safety patrols, day activities, short-term and respite housing, meeting points, and municipal primary care. Lotsen special housing is a dedicated dementia facility located in central Nynäshamn. The facility consists of 24 apartments. You work together with experienced colleagues in a close team around our residents. On each floor, six nursing assistants work, with two on duty during day and evening shifts. In daily work, you collaborate closely with colleagues and other professionals, including nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, where cooperation and open dialogue are a natural part of everyday life. You will support daily inspection activities at the site and related facilities, covering pressure equipment, piping, tanks, heat exchangers, fired heaters, valves, and structural steel. Who Are You? You are an Inspection Engineer with experience from heavy process industry, preferably within oil & gas or refinery environments. You combine technical understanding with a practical, hands-on approach and are comfortable working both in the field and with documentation.
