Karlskogahem Seeking Customer and Marketing Manager

What does it take to create attractive residential areas, satisfied tenants, and a business that meets tomorrow's needs? At Karlskogahem, all of this falls within the scope of the Customer and Marketing Manager's role. Now the company is seeking a leader who wants to take responsibility for a well-functioning department and at the same time help develop both Karlskogahem and Karlskoga moving forward. After many years with the company, Peter Vogler is retiring and handing over the role of Customer and Marketing Manager to his successor. "This is a very meaningful job. We work with people's homes and with issues that affect both our tenants and Karlskoga as a community. One moment you're dealing with long-term strategic questions in the management group, and the next you're addressing something happening right now in one of our residential areas. That diversity is a big part of what makes the role so rewarding," says Peter. Customer Focus, From Everyday to the Future Karlskogahem is a municipally-owned housing company with approximately 2,700 apartments and a clear mission to contribute to an attractive Karlskoga. The Customer and Marketing department has a team of twelve people working with customer service centers, leasing, communications, and residential development. What all this work has in common is that the customer is always at the center. As Customer and Marketing Manager, you lead the department and are responsible for creating the conditions for employees to succeed in their respective roles. You work with issues ranging from leasing, tenant satisfaction, and communications to customer experience, residential development, social sustainability, and collaboration with the municipality and other stakeholders. An important part of the role is also to develop Karlskogahem's marketing efforts and strengthen the company's position in Karlskoga. This includes building networks, developing collaborations with associations and other actors, and finding new ways to reach out. Here you have room to come in with your own ideas and perspectives on how the work can develop. At the same time, you are part of Karlskogahem's management group and contribute the customer and marketing perspective to the company's overall development. Karlskoga is in an expansion phase, and questions about the future housing market, new apartments, and how to attract current and future tenants become an important part of the work. Leadership That Shows the Direction You are taking over a well-functioning department with experienced employees who are used to taking considerable responsibility on their own. Karlskogahem has also qualified for Great Place to Work's list of Sweden's best workplaces, something that reflects the satisfaction and engagement in the organization. For the next manager, the role is about building on what works and at the same time contributing with your own experience, ideas, and perspectives. You are confident in your leadership, clear about expectations and direction, and give employees room to take responsibility and grow. "I'm handing over a fantastic team that knows their jobs and takes great responsibility. My advice to the next manager is to trust that competence, but also dare to lead. Be clear, communicate straight, and show where we're going together. Here we stand up for the team and everyone is part of the same gear," Peter concludes. As the new Customer and Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to work alongside Peter during an introduction period and benefit from his knowledge of the business. After that, it will be you and your employees who continue developing the department and put your own stamp on the role. Are you the right person for this task? Then we hope you submit an application! Examples of work duties: Lead and develop the Customer and Marketing department with personnel and budget responsibility. Responsible for and develop work on tenant satisfaction, NKI, and customer surveys. Ensure effective leasing and contribute to the development of Karlskogahem's customer journey. Drive and develop work within marketing, communications, and residential development, including through new ideas on how Karlskogahem is seen and reaches its target groups. Work with issues that enhance customer experience and contribute to pleasant residential areas. Responsible for matters related to safety, social sustainability, and Karlskogahem's social responsibility. Collaborate with Karlskoga Municipality and other external actors on housing and community issues. Develop partnerships with associations and other actors that strengthen Karlskogahem's role in the local community. Responsible for the department's budget, follow-up, and materials for, among other things, financial statements and annual reports. Be an active part of Karlskogahem's management group and contribute to the company's overall development. Are You the One We're Looking For? Academic education or work experience deemed equivalent. Several years of experience in management and leadership roles with personnel responsibility. Good financial understanding and experience with budget work and financial follow-up. Good digital skills and the ability to work with statistics and follow-up. Good communication skills in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is advantageous if you also have good understanding of rental law. As a person, you are engaged, responsive, and clear in your communication. You see the bigger picture, enjoy multiple contact points, and have a genuine interest in customer and community issues. Test Director at Bofors Test Center

A successful test begins long before anything is tested on the test range. The setup must be well thought out, risks assessed, resources coordinated, and everyone involved needs to know what will happen. But even with careful preparations, it's impossible to plan for every situation that may arise. That's when the test director becomes especially important. In the forests outside Karlskoga lies Bofors Test Center, an internationally established player in testing military and civilian products. Here, tests of advanced weapons systems are conducted under controlled conditions, with shooting technicians, measurement technicians, photographers, and other specialist functions working together on the test ranges. Collaboration is a major part of daily life. Different specialist skills work closely together here, and although the assignments come with great responsibility, daily work is characterized by a lot of humor, lack of pretense, and a natural willingness to help each other. We are now looking for more test directors who want to take on a unifying responsibility for this operation. You follow the assignment from the first preparations through the completed test and final delivery, with responsibility for creating structure, leading the team, and ensuring that work is conducted safely even when conditions change. – As a test director, you are in the middle of operations. You hold the work together, lead the team, and ensure that what we have planned also works and is followed up in practice, says Erik Hjerpe, Deputy Manager Testing. You hold the test together from start to finish Assignments can last from a single day to several weeks. As a test director, you plan the setup, manage risks, and ensure that the right resources and expertise are in place. During execution, you lead and coordinate work on the test range, and afterwards you are responsible for documentation, follow-up, and delivery. You also maintain ongoing dialogue with the customer regarding setup, conditions, and delivery. Here you need to be clear about what is possible, what is required, and how the work should proceed. Since many of Bofors Test Center's customers are international, much of the communication takes place in English. When conditions change Much can be prepared, but not everything. During a test, technical deviations may occur, equipment may need to be addressed, or a step may need to be redone. As a test director, you then need to maintain an overview, prioritize, and bring in the right expertise to determine how the work should proceed. Safety is always the starting point. You are not expected to have all the answers, but you need to be comfortable asking, seeking help, and saying stop when the situation requires it, even when there is time pressure or expectations to move forward. – Your task is never to rush, but to pause, create clarity, and make the right decision safely, even when there is pressure from others to move faster. At the same time, that's what makes the role so interesting—you never quite know what challenges the day will bring. And even though you have great responsibility, you do the work together with a team where we help each other and have a lot of fun along the way, concludes Erik. Are you interested in the role of test director at Bofors Test Center? Then we hope you'll submit an application! Examples of work tasks: Planning and leading tests from start to finish. Coordinating technicians, measurement personnel, and other resources. Risk assessments and follow-up of safety work. Communication with customer before, during, and after tests. Decision-making during ongoing tests based on current conditions. Documentation of results and compilation of materials after completed tests. Are you the person we're looking for? We are looking for someone who has: Good knowledge of Office software, especially Excel. Very good knowledge of English, spoken and written. Good ability to plan and work structurally. If you have previously led or coordinated work, that's an advantage. Experience from an environment where technology, safety, and practical implementation come together also provides a good foundation for the role. If you additionally have language skills or have worked with any type of shooting systems, that's a merit. Benefits As an employee of Bofors Test Center, you have access to a wide range of benefits that make both your work day and leisure time more valuable. Wellness – As an employee, you receive 4,000 kr per year to use for wellness activities that promote health and well-being. Benefex – Through Benifex you get access to exclusive discounts. Now Uddeholm is seeking a technical outside sales representative who, together with two additional colleagues, will be responsible for the northern region. Here you'll combine technology, sales, and long-term customer relationships in a role where a large part of the work takes place at the customer's site. For Philip Lundkvist Frifelt, Regional Manager Northern Sweden at voestalpine High Performance Metals Sweden AB, the willingness to understand the customer is central. – We want to be close to our customers and help them solve the problems that actually arise in their operations. Sometimes you need to visit on-site, look at the application, and really understand what's happening before you can recommend the right way forward, says Philip. From technical question to completed deal A customer dialogue can begin in different ways. Sometimes you receive a concrete question about a material and need to quickly investigate what the customer needs, prepare a quote, and conduct a business discussion. In other cases, it's about a more complex challenge, for example a component not performing as expected or the customer needing to find the right steel grade for a new application. Your task will be to understand the need, ask the right questions, and take the work further. Sometimes you can solve much yourself, other times you bring in technicians, inside sales, production, or other specialist resources. At the same time, there's a clear growth perspective. You develop relationships with existing customers, work on new customer acquisition, and identify new business opportunities. – That's the attitude we appreciate. You should want to help the customer and be prepared to go the extra mile to move forward together. Long-term relationships mean a lot to us, Philip continues. You don't need to know everything from the start You don't need to come in as a finished specialist on Uddeholm's materials or have a long career as a Key Account Manager behind you. This could just as well be the next step for someone who has worked a few years in technical sales, in a customer-facing technical role, or in manufacturing industry. Technical curiosity and a willingness to learn are important qualities for the role. You'll receive an introduction and support to quickly get into the role and gradually build your technical competence. Initially, you'll among other things accompany colleagues on customer visits, meet with technicians, and get to know the production and organization. There are good opportunities to continue developing over time. Through Uddeholm Academy, product and material training is offered, where you have the opportunity to deepen your technical competence together with colleagues from the international organization. – We don't expect you to know all our materials from day one. What's important is that you're technically curious, want to understand, and are eager to learn. We'll build the knowledge together, Philip concludes. At Uddeholm, you'll also be part of a team where people help each other, share knowledge, and work together even though colleagues are located in different places. The culture is described as unpretentious, helpful, and familial, with a strong commitment to supporting both customers and colleagues. Examples of work tasks Responsible for and develop business in the northern region. Plan and conduct customer visits and lead technical and commercial discussions. Understand customers' production, challenges, and needs, and recommend appropriate materials and solutions. Drive new customer acquisition and identify new business opportunities. Conduct price and business negotiations. Coordinate technicians, inside sales, and other resources based on customer needs. Drive customer cases and business processes from initial dialogue to delivery. We're looking for someone who has: Several years of relevant experience from, for example, technical sales, a customer-facing technical role, or manufacturing industry. Technical educational background or equivalent experience that has given you a good technical understanding. Ability to engage with technical issues and translate customer needs into solutions. An interest in sales, business, and long-term customer relationships. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A driver's license and ability to travel regularly for work. As a person, you're technically curious and quick to absorb new knowledge. You work methodically and structured and can manage multiple customer dialogues, quotes, and processes simultaneously. At the same time, you have a clear drive and enjoy moving the work forward yourself. You're relationship-oriented and genuinely interested in the customer's business. For you, good service means wanting to understand the problem and find a solution together with the customer. You're also unpretentious and appreciate a working style where knowledge is shared, people help each other, and work toward common goals.
