Your work includes motivating and stimulating the resident to maintain their ability to participate and remain independent. We use low-affective interaction, and it is important that you are calm and confident in your role as a nursing assistant. Our different professional roles work as a team to develop interaction and action plans based on BPSD assessments (behavioral and psychological symptoms in dementia) and Senior Alert, which are also regularly evaluated by the team. We work with active contact person support where collaboration with family members is an important part of the work. Your duties also include administering medication when delegated this task by a nurse. Documentation is done in the LifeCare journal system. The home consists of 4 units with a total of 56 apartments distributed over 2 floors. The building also houses our day activity center Alegården, with which we have close collaboration.
