About Nattsländan Nattsländan care residence has three residential units: psychiatry, dementia with special needs, and specialized housing for Huntington's disease/acquired brain damage. At Nattsländan, you should feel at home and get to do things that interest you. Every day should feel meaningful and rich in content. When you move in with us, you, your contact person, and the care coordinator nurse review your situation, your needs, and wishes. This conversation forms the basis for your individual care plan, which we then work according to and follow up on step by step. The facility has access to nurses and is staffed with nursing assistants and care workers around the clock. Nattsländan has both a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist. We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that everyone working here is trained in dementia care and dementia approaches through Vardaga's Dementia Academy. We use needs-based flexible scheduling. This means that as an employee you have the opportunity to influence your own working hours, based on needs and preferences. We create schedules for 10 weeks at a time. You have a team leader who spends most of their time working close to you in the facility.
