Property Coordinator

Tierp is a municipality with an organization the right size for you if you want close access to your manager, colleagues, politics, and customers. Here there is room for both personal development and collaboration within the organization. Our municipality offers varied residential environments, nature close to the sea, history, culture, and good services. Tierp has Stockholm, Uppsala, and Gävle within commuting distance and also offers the possibility to work partially remotely. Our values are important and together we work to realize our value words: respect, responsibility, customer focus, courage, and future confidence. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a Property Coordinator, you will work closely with various municipal operations. Your role is a support function for the operations in their facility needs, property and rental matters, as well as any renovations/operational adjustments. You will have a role where you get to combine administration, service, and coordination. You will work closely with the municipal property company and your work will primarily be carried out at an operational level but also partly at a strategic level. Within the property office at Community Development, you will work together with our property strategist. The strategist also has close contacts with the municipality's operations and property company but at a more clearly strategic level. Collaboration between coordinator and strategist is important to create well-anchored strategic plans and operational implementation in line with the plans. Your area of work is broad with large parts of collaboration, both internally and externally. You will, among other things, handle inquiries and feedback from the municipality's residents, manage operational orders, assist with preparing, reviewing, and monitoring the municipality's rental agreements, and give presentations to different target groups. You initiate and participate in preliminary studies and processes for, for example, strategic projects/facility needs, and you keep yourself updated on global trends to prepare relevant documentation and cost estimates. Part of your work with smaller operational orders is also your knowledge of building technology and your ability to make reasonableness assessments. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have an academic education in, for example, property economics, property management, or building engineering. You also have experience from equivalent work, such as strategist, manager, facilities planner, or project leader, preferably in combination with conducting property economic analyses and assessments. To succeed in this role, basic knowledge of building technology is required. You are administratively skilled and accustomed to working in various digital systems. You can handle work in Outlook and Office packages as well as property management systems. You can read building documents, drawings, and maps. The role requires good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, and you adapt your communication to different target groups. Travel on duty occurs, so you need to have a B driver's license. It is a merit if you have previously worked with property and facility matters within municipal operations. We are looking for you who are structured and self-driven, enjoy working in a team but are still comfortable working independently. You have the ability to think strategically and creatively with a strong commitment to facility matters. Your relationship-building approach and business acumen are important prerequisites for creating good results and rewarding collaborations. As a person, you are trustworthy, attentive, and communicative. You are solution-oriented and can take on assignments that are not always well-defined at first. The role requires that you can plan, develop, and drive work depending on the task. The ability to break down long-term goals to find the right level of deliverables and priorities in daily work is fundamental to the position. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Employment form: Permanent employment. At Tierp Municipality, we prioritize our employees' well-being and therefore offer a wellness contribution of 3,000 kronor, the opportunity to exchange salary for extra vacation days, benefits packages, and other attractive benefits. We also strive to create a workplace with rich development opportunities. Diversity is important to us, and we see our employees' different backgrounds, experiences, knowledge, and personalities as a valuable resource that enriches our municipality. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to present a valid work permit or confirm that you are exempt from the requirement. Employment can only take place after we have verified this, in accordance with the Aliens Act. Please submit your application digitally via Visma Recruit.
