Description We are now seeking a full-time medical secretary for 24-hour care at Northern Stockholm Psychiatry. The 24-hour care unit at Northern Stockholm Psychiatry comprises 9 care wards (5 wards under Northern Stockholm Psychiatry and 5 wards under Psychosis Care Stockholm) serving adult patients requiring 24-hour psychiatric care. The clinic is centrally located on the St. Göran Hospital campus on Kungsholmen. Job Responsibilities As a secretary at the Mobile Emergency Unit (inpatient care), you will work across all of the clinic's 24-hour care wards with medical record writing and LPT monitoring. This means you will have daily contact with the wards' physicians and with the administrative court. You will be part of a central secretary group working across all wards. LPT monitoring, which is a major part of the work as a medical secretary in 24-hour care, involves keeping track of the dates when patients' LPT care expires and ensuring that applications for extensions are submitted to the administrative court in a timely manner. This is work that requires stress tolerance, accuracy, and attention to detail. Qualifications You have training as a medical secretary. It is advantageous if you have prior experience with the Take Care medical records system. You have good knowledge of medical terminology, and experience working as a medical secretary in psychiatric healthcare is meritable. Most of the work is performed in various software systems, so good IT skills are required. We are also looking for someone interested in deepening their knowledge in an important field—LPT monitoring—rather than handling multiple different tasks. As a person, you are service-oriented and stress-resilient in your work. You are also flexible, have good collaboration skills, and can adapt your work to varying needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Terms Full-time, daytime hours, 39.5 hours/week. Permanent employment in the acute care section.
