Duties The work includes planning, administration, implementation, and reporting of a university course. Your work is based on the course plan and is carried out together with a colleague and in close collaboration with guest lecturers, the course working group (consisting of experienced university teachers, researchers, and professors), and the course coordinator at CEMUS. The tasks include, among other things, contacting guest lecturers and students, planning the course structure and materials, preparing and leading seminars and workshops, and course administration. The work involves creatively building on experiences from previous course sessions and passing on your own experiences to future student assistants and course assistants. Qualification Requirements • Employment as a student assistant is regulated in the Higher Education Ordinance Chapter 5. Description Unit BUP Serious Behavioral Disorders (BUP-ANB) is a new regional operation starting in 2026. The operation builds on the government assignment Integrated Care (2021-2024) and offers specialist psychiatric care to community-placed children and young people up to 21 years old with serious behavioral disorders and concurrent psychiatric care needs when ordinary outpatient care is insufficient. The unit will be built up with four mobile interdisciplinary teams consisting of doctors, psychologists, social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, and healthcare administrators. Approximately 25 employees will work in the operation in total. The target group is children and young people with extensive psychiatric and social comorbidity. Many have experienced care breakdown, repeated placements, and serious mental health issues such as self-harm, trauma, or behavioral disorders. The service area covers all of Västra Götaland. Initially, the operation targets young people placed in SiS homes in the region. In the long term, children and young people placed in HVB homes and within the Prison and Probation Service are planned to be included. The unit is organizationally part of the Neurology and Child Psychiatry operation at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, within the Child Psychiatric 24-Hour Care and Special Clinics section. The operation is mobile and meets the young person where they are located. Work is conducted on a team basis with close collaboration between professions.
