In the sector Work and Individual, individual and family care, labor market services, functional support, integration, and adult education are organized. Do you want to make a real difference? Labor Market and Development is seeking a labor market secretary. The position is an expansion of our operations and means we're strengthening our team with an additional labor market secretary. The initiative is part of our work to strengthen support for people outside the labor market and create more paths to work, studies, and self-sufficiency. About the Operations The Labor Market and Development unit works to strengthen individuals' opportunities for self-sufficiency and participation in society. The operations include, among other things, financial assistance, adult education, integration, youth coaching, socio-psychiatric employment, and internal labor market. We work based on the individual's resources and needs and strive to offer the right interventions at the right time. Responsibilities As a labor market secretary, you are responsible for supporting and guiding people who are outside the labor market. Together with the participant, you map prerequisites, resources, and needs to plan appropriate interventions toward work or studies. Your work includes, among other things: Mapping work capacity, competencies, and support needs Establishing labor market plans and following up on interventions Motivating and coaching participants toward work or studies Collaborating with the Public Employment Service, social services, education providers, healthcare, and other stakeholders Matching participants with internships, work training, and other labor market interventions Documenting and following up on cases according to the operations' procedures Working with a solution-focused approach to create successful paths to self-sufficiency Qualifications We're looking for someone who has: Academic education in social work, behavioral science, labor market, social sciences, or other education that the employer deems equivalent Experience working with people in change processes Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish Good computer skills You have a coaching approach and the ability to create trusting relationships. You are structured, independent, and work well with other stakeholders. We place great importance on personal suitability. Merits It is an asset if you have: Experience from the labor market field or similar operations Knowledge of labor market policy programs and interventions Training in Motivational Interviewing (MI) Experience with BIP (Employment Indicator Project) Experience with exercising authority or social work Experience collaborating with the Public Employment Service and other authorities Worked in the Lifecare operations system We Offer With us, you get the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.
