About the workplace Food and facility services are part of the Community Development sector and consist of four geographic areas with approximately 70 employees in total. We are now seeking an energetic and innovative cook for our kitchen at Kaprifolgården in Henån. You will be part of a work group of eight people. Through our work, we ensure that the municipality's residential care facilities, schools, and preschools receive delicious and nutritious meals. We actively work on digitalization and increasing our share of organic food, which currently stands at 60%. Your responsibilities Work as a cook involves managing all kitchen tasks such as meal preparation, cooking and planning of special diets, baking, vegetable preparation, self-inspection, receiving goods, dishwashing, and cleaning. During absences at other units, work may require you to be at another workplace. Rotation and a flexible work approach are part of the daily work. We want to spread both joy in food and knowledge about good and sustainable meals, which requires a high level of service. To prevent people from falling into serious debt, contact with customers, employers, and other authorities becomes an important part of your work. Your role is to be the neutral party that helps both those who haven't been paid and those who need to pay. You investigate assets, make decisions about appropriate enforcement measures of varying scope and complexity. This involves analyzing and assessing different types of information. You request supplements via phone, email, and letter in contact with various parties. Based on laws and regulations, you assess the information and make decisions. The cases you handle require legal certainty, speed, and efficiency while maintaining quality. You will undergo a six-month internal training period where practice alternates with theory, and you will also have a mentor who supports you initially. The training includes law, communication, and conversation techniques. You will be part of a team that jointly takes responsibility for results, planning, and work distribution. Your duties include identifying and preventing attempted criminal activity and notifying other authorities about suspected crimes.
