The Environmental Unit at Orust Municipality works for a good environment and safe food based on the Environmental Code and food legislation. The Environmental Unit is part of the Societal Development sector and has twelve employees with shared goals and strong team spirit. Your Tasks As an Environmental and Health Protection Inspector with us, you will work with supervision and licensing according to the Environmental Code. The focus can be adapted to some extent based on your knowledge or areas of interest, but we are primarily seeking someone with expertise in wastewater and health protection. The work involves providing advice to the public and relevant stakeholders, as well as conducting supervision and making decisions in administrative matters. You have higher education in environmental and health protection or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You should have good knowledge of administrative work, the Environmental Code, administrative law, and be able to express yourself orally and in writing. Computer proficiency, digital systems, and tools are essential. A driver's license is a requirement.
