PERSONAL ASSISTANT TJÖRN - DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED

We are seeking an assistant for a 15-year-old girl who lives part-time on Tjörn. Work is scheduled in 2-week intervals. Perhaps you are studying or for other reasons prefer a job with fewer hours, but where you typically know your work schedule and can plan your days accordingly. Start as a hourly employee that will transition to fixed recurring shifts in 2-week intervals. Possibility to expand to work during the other 2 weeks may also be available, as the girl lives with the other parent in Ucklum in Stenungsund municipality. – The families live in the countryside so a driver's license is a requirement. Work hours: Afternoon/evening 16:30-21:30 Awake nights 21:30-07:30 Weekends 08:00-16:00 and 16:00-21:30 About the Position With our client you will work in the family's home on Tjörn primarily. In your work you will be there for the client in her daily life, such as during showers, bathroom visits, play and fun, and activities outside the home. The girl goes horseback riding once a week so if you have experience with horses that is a plus. She enjoys crafting and drawing pictures. You will receive individualized introduction/training in all aspects of the client's support needs and routines until you feel confident. The Assistant's Role and Experience You as a person need to be calm and confident, attentive and proactive. In this work you need to have patience and be able to confirm when the client has questions and concerns as this makes her feel calm and seen. If you have knowledge of autism, low-affect approach and EP, then you are the right fit for our main client. You need to be flexible regarding work hours because we in the work group handle staffing if someone becomes ill or takes vacation – we support our client and each other. Desirable Experience EP. During school breaks it is an advantage if you can and want to expand your hours as our client is home more.
