Postdoctoral Researcher in Mass Spectrometry for Detection of Oxygenated Radicals in Air

Responsibilities Oxygenated organic radicals are important drivers of chemistry in many systems, such as metabolism in living organisms, polymerization, combustion systems, and the natural environment (Earth's atmosphere). However, few techniques can detect them today. We are seeking a motivated researcher to develop and apply a mass spectrometric technique (proton transfer mass spectrometry, PTr-MS) for detection of individual oxygenated organic radicals in air, within the prestigious European Research Council (ERC) Advanced project EPHEMERAL. The work will encompass characterization and optimization of a state-of-the-art Time-of-flight mass spectrometer (PTr-MS) and use of other instruments to detect these radicals in laboratory and in air. This position will be within the Nozière group at the Department of Chemistry at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. Qualifications Requirements Completed doctoral degree or foreign degree in chemistry, physics, or appropriate field deemed equivalent to a doctoral degree. This qualification requirement must be met at the time the employment decision is made. Responsibilities Oxygenated organic radicals are important drivers of chemistry in many systems, such as metabolism in living organisms, polymerization, combustion systems, and the natural environment (Earth's atmosphere). About the Role As a chef with sous chef responsibilities, you are a key person in the kitchen where you combine operational work with leadership. You are responsible for the day-to-day operations and ensure that the food maintains high quality and exceeds our guests' expectations. At the same time, you contribute to developing working methods, menus, and the team. The EAT business area offers a wide range of food and refreshments and plays an important role in providing our guests with a complete experience during their visit to Gekås Ullared. Job Description Community Corrections Skövde is now seeking an administrator. Administration is a service function at the community corrections office where you will be part of a team responsible for assisting the community corrections officers with administrative work related to client matters through registration and processing of client documents such as investigation reports, decisions, court sentences, and more. Administration is responsible for archives, records, mail handling, ordering, certain financial administration, and management of the authority's incoming email. The job tasks involve external contacts, where you represent the Swedish Prison and Probation Service in relation to partners and the public. Part of the work involves staffing the community corrections reception desk, where you are the face of the organization and must ensure that all visitors to the community corrections premises are treated professionally and equally. The job tasks also include other common administrative duties. The tasks require that you have knowledge of the principle of public access while ensuring that confidentiality protection is maintained. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is confident, stable, and has a flexible work approach.
