Vice Production Manager – Part Construction, Kalix

Do you want to lead daily production while also contributing to the development of the operation? Part Construction is seeking a Vice Production Manager for our factory in Kalix. We're looking for someone who wants to take on a clear and operational leadership role in production and who enjoys being close to the operation, the team, and the daily challenges. As Vice Production Manager, you will be a close support to the Production Manager and an important part of the factory's operational leadership. You will be present on the production floor, lead and follow up on daily work, coach supervisors and employees, and ensure that production runs efficiently and according to established targets. In parallel, you will play an important role in developing the operation through Lean and continuous improvement. You will report to the CEO and work closely with the Production Manager. Your Assignment As Vice Production Manager, your primary focus will be to contribute to strong operational leadership and a well-functioning production. Among other things, you will: Be present and visible on the production floor and maintain close contact with supervisors and employees. Contribute to a work environment where employees feel responsibility, engagement, and ownership. Lead, prioritize, and follow up on operational work. Ensure that production maintains the right quality, pace, and delivery accuracy. Support the Production Manager in the daily management and follow-up of production. Identify problems and ensure they are addressed and monitored. Identify and implement improvements in processes, methods, and workflows. Be a driving force in Lean and continuous improvement efforts. Operational Leadership in Focus This is primarily a leadership role in production. We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys being where the operation happens and who wants to take responsibility for ensuring that daily production runs smoothly. You need to be able to switch between being close to the daily details and stepping back to see what needs to be developed in the longer term. As a leader, you create structure and clarity, follow up, and take action when something isn't working. You are not afraid to make decisions, and you have the ability to bring people with you. Lean and Continuous Improvement An important part of the role is to develop production together with the Production Manager and the rest of the organization through Lean and systematic improvement work. You therefore need to have the ability to see a process from a holistic perspective and identify what can be improved, as well as the ability to turn ideas into concrete changes and drive them all the way from identified opportunity to implementation and results. What We're Looking For You have experience working in or leading a manufacturing operation, preferably within industry or manufacturing. You have knowledge and experience working with continuous improvement and implementing new routines and methods.
