Job Duties On the intensive care unit, the region's most critically ill patients are cared for, those with failure in vital functions such as breathing, circulation, and consciousness. Many of our patients are unconscious or sedated and need help with all care. As a nursing assistant with us, you are welcomed to a well-staffed operation with good community and close teamwork. We work in teams together with nurses, doctors, and physiotherapists. Our patients require constant monitoring and staff presence. To make this possible, as a nursing assistant you work with one to two patients, depending somewhat on care needs. You are an important puzzle piece in caring for our patients and their families. Your work days will consist of close care and providing security to patients during serious illness and injury. In our work to promote reading, we place great emphasis on strong knowledge of literature and understanding of our target audience's media habits. We are now seeking a librarian who wants to work with children ages 0-12 and their important adults. In this role, you will meet children in daily library work and build relationships with them, their important adults, caregivers, and other stakeholders in the area. You will work with Bokstart for the youngest children and their families and lead educational activities involving, for example, crafts, art, and other creative pursuits. You will activate the children's ateliers in the libraries and help make these spaces into vibrant places where children can explore, create, and express themselves on their own terms. You will work at both libraries. You will work in a participant-driven and initiative-based manner, which means that ideas and content develop together with those who use the activities. This is a nine-month full-time contract position with the possibility of extension. The position includes day, evening, and weekend shifts according to schedule.
