Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate at Lumber Yard

Are you an experienced forklift operator who thrives with physical and independent work at a fast pace? We are now looking for a forklift operator and warehouse associate for our partner company in Gothenburg. The company is an established player in the building materials industry and offers a varied workday where you work with order handling, material flows, and inventory management at a lumber yard. In this role, you are responsible for picking and assembling customer orders based on pick lists, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring that the warehouse and lumber yard are well-organized. The work takes place both indoors and outdoors and requires you to be comfortable with physical work in varying weather conditions. You work independently for much of the day but are also part of a team where collaboration and helpfulness are important parts of everyday work. Start: End of August or by agreement Location: Gothenburg Scope: Full-time, day shift Employment type: This is initially a consulting assignment. For the right person, there are good opportunities for employment with our partner company in the long term. Your Profile Requirements: • Previous experience with order picking • Forklift certification and good forklift experience • Class B driver's license • Fluent Swedish, spoken and written Merits: • Experience from building supply, lumber yard, or similar warehouse operations • Experience handling timber and building materials We are looking for someone who is confident in their work and accustomed to taking personal responsibility. You have experience with independent warehouse work and understand the importance of accuracy when working with customer orders and material handling. As a person, you are humble, practical, and good at collaborating with others. You are not afraid to pitch in when needed and have the ability to see what needs to be done without waiting for instructions.
