We are now looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable care educator who wants to be part of educating the next generation of professionals in healthcare and social care. We're looking for someone who is passionate about learning and who wants to help give students the knowledge, skills and values needed to succeed in professional life and make a difference for other people.
Responsibilities
As a care educator, you are responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring instruction within healthcare and social care education at the secondary level. You work closely with students and contribute to creating a safe, inspiring and professional learning environment where every individual is given the opportunity to develop and reach their full potential.
Your responsibilities include:
• Teaching in healthcare and social care education
• Planning and implementing instruction
• Assessing and grading students
• Documenting and following up on students' knowledge development
• Collaborating with practice placements and supervisors
• Contributing to the education program's quality and development work
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
• Is a licensed vocational instructor in healthcare and social care or has other relevant education and experience that the employer considers equivalent
• Has experience from healthcare and social care operations
• Has strong pedagogical abilities and a genuine interest in learning
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is responsible, organized and relationship-building
• Enjoys motivating and supporting people in their development
Meritorious
• Experience teaching in adult education
• Experience with apprenticeship coordination
• Experience in eldercare, home services, support services for persons with disabilities (LSS) or healthcare
• Multilingual abilities
