Your Assignment As a nurse in 24-hour psychiatric care, you have an important role in the team working with the patient's recovery. In collaboration with colleagues from different professions, you assess and plan the individual patient's need for support, care, and treatment. You work closely with the patient and collaborate with psychiatric outpatient care, other healthcare providers/community institutions, and with relatives. Your Qualifications You are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience working in psychiatric care. Main Responsibilities The primary duties of a postdoctoral researcher are to conduct research. These may also include teaching, up to 20% of work time. Department of Economics The Department of Economics at SLU is now seeking a postdoctoral researcher in applied economics with a strong interest in decision-making within the food sector and sustainability-related challenges. About the Position The position is located within the research group Decision-Making and Management and offers the opportunity to develop and lead an independent research agenda in applied economics. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to and collaborate in ongoing research activities within the group while developing their own research ideas in line with the group's overall direction. The research group employs a broad spectrum of applied economic methods, including laboratory and survey-based experiments, field experiments, randomized controlled trials, and analysis of observational data. The research also includes methodological contributions related to consumer behavior, preference analysis, and decision-making under various information and institutional conditions. Postdoctoral Fellow in Political Science
The research project "The importance of social and biological inheritance for people's life chances: New approaches at the intersection of social science and genetics" is funded by a four-year infrastructure grant from the Swedish Research Council. The project aims to increase knowledge about how the complex interplay between genes and environment shapes people's health and their position in the social and economic hierarchy. More specifically, we utilize the rapidly growing availability of large-scale genotype data in Europe, combined with detailed register data and survey data from multiple countries, to investigate how specific genetic factors co-vary and interact with social, political, and economic conditions. The goal is to better understand how these factors together contribute to variation in outcomes such as health, education, income, political participation, social trust, and other behaviors. The project aims to further develop a leading interdisciplinary research environment at the forefront of the social science genomics research field. The project is now seeking a postdoctoral fellow at Uppsala University, who will work in close collaboration with three other postdoctoral fellows at Uppsala University, University of Oslo, and Amsterdam UMC, as well as other project members at all three nodes.
