Roving Receptionist, Part-Time in Uppsala!

Then this could be the job for you! We are now looking for a roving receptionist for our client in Uppsala. In this role, you will be employed as a consultant at StudentConsulting and will work at different workplaces as needed within the same client assignment. The position is primarily designed to cover absences such as sick leave and parental leave, which means you need to be flexible and able to step in with relatively short notice. You are expected to work approximately one shift per week, but the need may vary from week to week. We therefore prefer that you have a flexible lifestyle, for example studying remotely. The work tasks and work environment may differ depending on where you are booked. At some workplaces you will mainly work with reception and service, while other assignments involve more practical service tasks and ensuring that the workplace is pleasant and well-functioning. Examples of work tasks may include: Greeting and assisting employees and visitors Staffing reception and providing service Handling simple mail and conference-related tasks Preparing and clearing breakfast and refreshments Maintaining order and ensuring that common areas are clean and pleasant Performing simple service tasks and making rounds Assisting wherever needed Working hours are primarily 07:00–16:00 or 07:30–16:00, depending on the workplace. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR For this position, we are primarily looking for a student with at least 1 year remaining in your studies. As a person, you are self-motivated, proactive, and service-oriented. You have an eye for what needs to be done and don't wait for someone else to give you instructions. Since you may work at different workplaces, it is important that you are flexible, unpretentious, and can quickly adapt to new environments. It is a merit if you have previous experience in service, reception, hospitality, retail, or similar, but it is not a requirement. What matters most is your attitude and that you enjoy helping others.
