Operations Manager with Project Responsibility

ISS is one of the world's largest service companies and this year we celebrate 80 years in Sweden! With over 6,500 employees across the country, from north to south, we deliver services that make a difference. We offer our customers everything from cleaning to technical services, food and workplace services. We create workplaces where people thrive, businesses grow, and where sustainability is a given – socially, environmentally, and commercially. Our employees are the heart of what we do – and essential for our customers to feel secure, seen – and for their workplaces to flourish. For our operations with one of our industrial customers in Trollhättan, ISS is seeking a business-driven and committed operations manager who wants to combine operational leadership with project management. This is a role for you who are equally comfortable leading people and developing daily service delivery as driving smaller technical property projects from start to finished solution. With us, you get a key role in a growing operation where you have great opportunities to influence both the customer's development and how we deliver our services. About the Role As operations manager, you are responsible for the daily delivery of FM services to the customer, including technical services, facility cleaning, and operations management. You lead a small team of approximately four employees and are responsible for creating a safe, efficient, and customer-focused operation. This means you work closely with the customer to identify improvement opportunities, develop working methods, and ensure high quality, good service, and profitable delivery. In addition to operations responsibility, you are responsible for planning and implementing smaller technical property projects, such as adaptations in the growing operation, renovations, and other property-related CAPEX projects. The projects typically include budgeting, planning, coordination of contractors, monitoring economics and quality, and handover to operations. This role suits you if you appreciate variety and want to combine long-term leadership with a more project-oriented work approach. Since the team is small, you are also expected to be unpretentious and contribute operatively yourself when the operation requires it. In the role, you are responsible for, among other things: Leading and developing a small team within facility management, primarily technical property services Ensuring safe, efficient, and quality delivery according to contract Building long-term relationships with the customer Planning, leading, and following up smaller technical property projects and CAPEX investments Responsibility for budgeting, resource planning, contractor management, and financial follow-up in projects according to ISS's established project framework and customer requirements Working with continuous improvements and developing work methods that create increased customer value You are based at the customer's site in Trollhättan and report to the site manager. Since the site manager is responsible for multiple operations and is based elsewhere, you become ISS's natural local representative for the operation. It is a given for you that work is conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, agreements, and ISS policies and values. What We Offer ISS is one of the world's largest service companies within Facility Management, which gives you many different development opportunities within varying areas. At ISS, our employees are our most valuable resource and we have great focus on development where we offer various training programs for employees – all so you can be engaged and develop in your job. You will work closely with competent colleagues from whom you will gain great benefit, as we care about helping and developing each other. ISS's size and broad service offering contribute to good development opportunities both nationally and globally. We value diversity and inclusion highly. At ISS, all people are equally valued and have the same rights and opportunities. Our employees reflect society's diversity, which is both a competitive advantage and an asset in our long-term sustainable work. Our inclusive corporate culture strengthens our employees, makes us more creative and productive, and creates a more attractive workplace. ISS values, which are fundamental to how we work, are quality, responsibility, honesty, entrepreneurship, and community. Therefore, it is important that you feel you stand for a way of working and an approach that is in line with these. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for you who are a confident leader with strong self-drive and a genuine interest in technology, people, and customer relationships. You are structured, solution-oriented, and comfortable in a role where you switch between strategic issues and operational work. You have good ability to prioritize, create structure, and drive multiple activities in parallel. You have a business-minded approach and understand how technical investments, quality, and service together create value for the customer. We would like to see that you have: Experience in personnel management Experience in technical facility management, property operations, or similar activities Experience in project management within smaller construction, installation, or property projects Good experience with customer dialogue and service delivery Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Good system proficiency B driver's license It is a merit if you have experience with: CAPEX or reinvestment projects within property or industry AB 04, ABT 06, and ABFF Budgeting, construction contracts, and procurement of subcontractors Work environment responsibility according to BAS-P/BAS-U Your Application We hope we have sparked your interest and look forward to your application.
