About the Position
Our client in Borås is in an expansive phase focused on modernizing and developing their production, and is therefore seeking an experienced edge press operator.
About the Role:
At our client, you will work with contract manufacturing in sheet metal processing where the variation between products and customer orders is significant. You will work independently with setup, programming, and operation of edge presses as well as manufacturing parts according to drawings. Production is characterized by small to medium-sized series, which means changeovers, problem-solving, and technical understanding are a natural part of your daily work.

Your Profile:
We are looking for someone with experience in edge pressing and who feels confident independently setting up and operating machines. You have good drawing comprehension, a quality mindset, and thrive in a production environment where precision is just as important as efficiency. As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
We would particularly like to see you interested in being part of a development journey where new investments and modernization of production will be an important part of the future.
Requirements:
• Experience with edge pressing in sheet metal processing
• Experience setting up and programming edge presses
• Good skills in reading technical drawings
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Class B driver's license and access to a vehicle
Meritorious:
• Experience with Amada edge presses
• Experience from contract manufacturing
• Experience in sheet metal processing
• Forklift and bridge crane certification
Working Hours: Daytime
