We are now looking for more distribution operations managers for our control center in Trollhättan – a role for you who want to work with critical infrastructure, take operational responsibility, and help ensure a safe and stable electricity supply. Vattenfall Eldistribution is at the heart of the energy transition and plays a central role in the powerful electrification taking place in society. We are building the electricity grid of the future today and operate a critical infrastructure that distributes over half of all electricity produced in Sweden. About the Role As a distribution operations manager, you are a key part of keeping our electricity grid stable, secure, and accessible 24/7. From the control center, you monitor and control the grid in real-time and respond quickly to disruptions. You analyze the situation, prioritize the right actions, and lead the response until electricity supply is restored. In the role, you plan and lead switching operations in the electricity grid and prepare work so it is carried out safely, with the shortest possible outages for our customers. You also perform operational calculations to ensure quality and function in the grid. You will become part of a close-knit team of distribution operations managers who work closely together and support each other in daily work. The role involves close collaboration with field technicians, contractors, and other internal functions, as well as ongoing dialogue with both internal and external parties. To give you the right conditions in the role, you will undergo structured foundational training that combines theory and practice. The position is based on operational needs and may involve shift work, on-call duty, and standby responsibility. Requirements We are looking for you who have Electrical engineering education or equivalent competence through experience in the electrical industry You express yourself fluently in Swedish in both speech and writing, which is a prerequisite for dialogue with colleagues, contractors, and other external parties. Experience working with digital systems and IT support To succeed in the role, you are a confident and responsible person who thrives in an environment where decisions sometimes need to be made quickly. You work in a structured manner, stay calm when a lot is happening, and collaborate without ego while communicating clearly.
