We are now seeking a Security Specialist for Emergency Preparedness and Civil Defense for the Business Protection and Emergency Preparedness department within the Security Unit at Vattenfall Eldistribution. In a time marked by a changed security situation, increased demands for resilience and a rebuilt total defense, we need to continue developing our ability to prevent, manage and recover from serious disruptions, crises and ultimately war. Here you will have the opportunity to work with issues of great importance to both the company and society. Responsibilities and Tasks As a Security Specialist for Emergency Preparedness and Civil Defense, you will become an important part of our work to develop and strengthen Vattenfall Eldistribution's capacity in crisis preparedness, civil defense and total defense planning. You work closely with operations, management and external actors such as authorities, industry organizations and other critical societal functions. In the role you will, among other things: Responsible for coordinating, developing and following up Vattenfall Distribution's work on emergency preparedness and civil defense Represent Vattenfall Distribution in group-wide forums for civil defense and contribute to coordination of common capabilities and initiatives Develop and maintain plans for crisis preparedness, civil defense and heightened readiness Support the development of the company's staff and war organization Plan, conduct and evaluate exercises at strategic and operational level Together with BCM contribute to the development of continuity planning and business resilience with the aspect of heightened readiness and war Coordinate work related to crisis management, preparedness and total defense Participate in collaboration with authorities, Svenska kraftnät, the Swedish Armed Forces, MSB and other external actors Conduct analyses, training and information initiatives in the field Follow the development of legislation, regulatory requirements and the external environment within emergency preparedness and civil defense Develop and be responsible for the company's emergency preparedness plan Lead and coordinate the company's Risk and Vulnerability Analysis (RSA) for heightened readiness and war Responsible for the company's war placements of personnel Requirements We are looking for you who have: Academic education in security, risk management, societal security, emergency preparedness, total defense or other education that the employer considers equivalent Work experience in emergency preparedness, crisis management, continuity management, risk management or total defense Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing Experience in driving development work and collaborating with various stakeholders It is meritorious if you have experience in: Staff work or crisis management Exercise planning and evaluation Work in the energy sector or other critical societal functions Security protection Work with civil defense and total defense issues Who Are You?
