Site Manager Building Norrland

This is the role for you if you thrive in a project environment and want to contribute your expertise throughout the entire implementation. We're looking for a Site Manager who drives production – from start to finished project – with a focus on work leadership, resource planning, and monitoring of time, cost, and quality. The Site Manager Role As a Site Manager with us, you're responsible for planning, coordinating, leading, and monitoring your area's project implementation regarding time, quality, economy, and sustainability. You lead and allocate work and ensure the project is driven in line with NCC's guidelines and operational systems, toward the project's jointly established goals. Supporting you is a team including work supervisors, project engineers, project purchasers, project managers, skilled workers, and more. Together, you create the best possible conditions for good working conditions, progress, and economy in the project. With us, you have good tools and working methods, plus access to substantial expertise within the organization that supports you in your role. In your role as Site Manager, you'll greatly benefit from your leadership qualities as your task is to involve and engage the team in the project. You'll lead a number of salaried and skilled employees day-to-day. We want our projects to be characterized by structure, order, and organization as well as a good working environment, so to thrive with us, we see these as natural guiding principles for you as well. You have many contact points, and it's of utmost importance that you value good dialogue and collaboration both within the team, internally at NCC, and externally with customers and subcontractors. As Site Manager, you report to the Project Manager. Your Profile as Site Manager To thrive and be successful in the role, we see that you have several years of experience from a leading position driving construction projects of approximately 200–400 mkr, preferably in public real estate. You have the ability to coordinate your own resources and subcontractors. You're confident in the leadership role and have a good ability to delegate and set requirements. Based on this, we expect you to have a good understanding of cost management and experience driving collaborative projects. You have construction technical education or have built up equivalent expertise through practical industry experience. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. About Building Norrland We build and renovate both commercial and public buildings as well as residential properties throughout Norrland, from Sundsvall in the south to Luleå in the north. The department consists of approximately 200 engaged employees, both salaried and skilled workers, who together drive the projects forward with a focus on sustainable and long-term solutions. NCC Offers NCC wants to be an attractive employer with employees who thrive and develop, so we offer you a wide range of employee benefits and internal training. NCC has collective agreements for all employees which gives you good basic security and a clear set of rules so you know what applies to your employment. We also offer insurance, working time reduction, wellness allowance, and lunch benefits. Additional offers and discounts can be found via our benefits portal Benify. Additional Information The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. The role requires regular physical presence at our projects, and we're therefore looking for you who live – or have the possibility to settle – in Västernorrland County. Our initial projects are within commuting distance in the county, but weekly commuting to other project sites may occur later. Start by agreement. A B driving license is a requirement for the position. This position will be background checked in accordance with NCC's security culture. The department works with security-classified projects.
