Since one of our psychologists will be on parental leave, we need a licensed psychologist for an extended temporary position to join our team. Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Nearby Care, together with the Ambulance Service, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Primary care is organized in 4 nearby care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under good and nearby care. Each nearby care area is an economic unit led by a unit manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's medical advice service, youth clinic, and the nearby care department Näva, which are all grant-funded. Zätagränd Health Center is centrally located in Östersund and is a very well-functioning health center with high satisfaction and good working conditions. The unit is characterized by good collaboration between all professional categories and a positive attitude toward development work. The health center is staffed with specialist and training physicians, district nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. There is also a rehabilitation coordinator, dietitian, occupational therapist, physiotherapists, and a psychosocial unit where both psychologists and social workers work. We have a well-visited family center with midwifery services, child health care, social services, and an open preschool. We are over 60 employees and two unit managers who together care for over 13,400 registered patients. JOB DUTIES In Primary Care, we work according to the Right Use of Competence (RAK), which means our psychologists work at the top of their competence. As a psychologist with us, you have an important role in assessing and treating adult patients with mild to moderate mental health issues. You will work with assessment, evaluation, and treatment, both individually, in groups, and via the internet, using evidence-based methods. We place great emphasis on providing you as a psychologist with a good introduction to the profession. Together we utilize each other's expertise and create good conditions for patients. Supervision and regular meetings with other psychologists in primary care are included. Region Jämtland Härjedalen has clear career paths for competence development and specialization. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed psychologist with a CBT focus, preferably with further training in ACT/FACT. Experience working in primary care is a merit. You have drive and curiosity and want to develop in your role with us. You take responsibility and contribute with professional and warm interactions.
