The Recruitment and Staffing Unit is seeking three committed staff members for the resource pool within the Disability Sector. We are expanding our pool and are looking for you to develop in your professional role and contribute with dedication to varied and meaningful work. We offer three full-time positions, and with a full-time employment you receive 14 days off during a six-week period. A probationary period may be applied and employment begins by mutual agreement. Your new role As a staff member with us, you will work in a stimulating work environment where you have the opportunity to develop in your professional role. The assignment involves staffing various types of activities within the Disability Sector located throughout Östersund municipality. You will meet people of all ages, but mainly work in our children and youth services for ages 0–21 years. This makes the role both varied and developmental. The resource pool's task is to staff both emergency and planned absences up to 14 days and act as a resource to create added value for residents or improve the quality of services. Work follows a flexible schedule with shifts at various times around the clock. You are comfortable working independently and can work on-call and night shifts. You are available to work every third weekend, Friday through Sunday, and the schedule is planned once every six weeks in close collaboration with your work team. As a resource pool staff member, you work in a competent team that meets every six weeks at the unit's workplace meetings (APT), where we also have regular peer supervision. You provide support to residents based on individual needs, both inside and outside the home, according to the activity's daily planning. In this role you meet daily with children and young people with various needs, which requires flexibility, attentiveness, and professional conduct. You create a safe and developmental daily life for children and young people through play, movement, and educational activities. Work takes place both indoors and outdoors year-round and involves active participation in play, walks, and other activities. A low-affect approach is an integral part of the assignment. You work closely with your supervisor, who supports you in your assignment, while you also collaborate with coordinators in daily planning. The unit has a district nurse attached to it who supports you in the responsibility you have as part of delegated tasks under the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL). You also need to be able to travel to and work at workplaces throughout the municipality and be interested in working with all age groups, even though work with children and youth is your main assignment. Common work tasks Basic care. Participate in various activities such as meals/cooking, bedtime routines, waking up, visual support, everyday chores. Play and physical activities indoors and outdoors. Support and guidance in daily life. Documentation. Handle delegated tasks under HSL. Your qualifications Requirements Upper secondary education that the employer deems appropriate. We appreciate if you have a focus on care or pedagogy. Driver's license category B. Good knowledge of Swedish language in speaking, writing, and reading comprehension. Good physical ability corresponding to the possibility of active participation in play, walks, or similar activities. Merits Experience in care and support work, day and/or night shifts. Experience working with people with disabilities, particularly valued if you have worked with children with autism or other neuropsychiatric disabilities. Good computer skills. Good knowledge of care practices. Pedagogical experience from preschool or youth activities. Experience with low-affect approach in interactions.
