Are you an experienced Instrumentation Engineer looking for a hands-on role in a complex process industry environment? Nevita is currently looking for an Instrumentation Engineer for an initial three-month project assignment at our client's site in Nynäshamn, with good opportunities for extension. Your role As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will work closely with operations, maintenance, engineering and other technical disciplines at an established process plant. The role combines engineering activities with practical, site-based support and is well suited to someone who enjoys working close to the plant and solving technical challenges in an operational environment. Your responsibilities may include: Engineering and technical support within instrumentation and control. Working with P&IDs and translating process requirements into instrumentation solutions. Selection and specification of instruments, control valves and associated equipment. Working with pressure, flow, level and temperature measurement. Reviewing I/O, instrument loops, datasheets and technical documentation. Supporting modifications, upgrades and troubleshooting of existing installations. Ensuring instrumentation solutions comply with applicable standards and requirements, including ATEX. Coordinating with process, electrical, automation, maintenance and other engineering disciplines. Supporting commissioning, testing, I/O checks and FAT/SAT activities when required. Providing technical support to site activities, contractors and suppliers. Your profile We believe you have: A technical degree in Instrumentation, Automation, Electrical Engineering or a related field. Previous experience working with instrumentation in the process, petrochemical, refinery, energy or similar heavy industry. Good understanding of P&IDs and industrial process systems. Practical experience with instrumentation, I/O, loops, control valves and process measurement. Knowledge of ATEX and instrumentation in hazardous areas. The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with operations and other engineering disciplines. Good communication skills in English. Experience with SIL/SIS and Functional Safety is considered an advantage. Experience with PLC/DCS systems, commissioning, FAT/SAT, troubleshooting or control systems such as ABB 800xA/AC800M, Emerson DeltaV or Siemens PCS7/TIA Portal is also beneficial.
