Job Responsibilities As a Quality and Operations Developer, you will work with development and quality issues within elderly care operations. The assignment covers activities conducted under the Social Services Act (SoL), Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), and Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments Act (LSS) and includes special housing facilities (SÄBO), municipal home care including safety patrols and night patrols, day activities, and municipal primary care (KPV). You will work closely with all managers within elderly care and collaborate with other departments within the social services administration and the municipality. In this role, you serve as a specialist and methodological support in quality and development matters, and lead or drive improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening quality, safety, and security in care and services. An important part of the assignment is to monitor the external environment and stay updated on current research, national guidelines, and changes in legislation. You will also apply and disseminate methods and tools for improvement work, as well as follow up and evaluate the organization's results. The assignment also includes ensuring compliance with applicable decisions, guidelines, rules, and legislation. Other responsibilities: • Respond to referrals within the operational area • Prepare and write official statements for the board • Support the department manager and unit managers in development work and identification of improvement areas • Coordinate and serve as contact person for, for example, municipal adult education centers, upper secondary schools, and colleges and universities You report to the department manager and are part of the department's management group. About the Workplace The Social Services Administration's main mission is to provide individually adapted support and services within elderly care, support for persons with disabilities, social support, and needs-assessed support. We are present for residents throughout all stages of life. Elderly care is responsible for healthcare and services for the elderly. The department consists of four special housing facilities operated by the municipality with a focus on dementia care, somatic care, respite care, and short-term care (approximately 200 apartments in total), municipal primary care that serves both Social Services Act and LSS populations, municipal home care including safety and night patrols, and a day activity program (dementia and somatic care). What We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you have: • A degree as a social worker, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, nurse, or equivalent qualification • At least one year of experience as a quality and operations developer with good results • Experience in professional collaboration and dialogue • Experience and knowledge within municipal primary care and elderly care, particularly within home care • Worked within a politically governed organization • Knowledge of the laws governing these operations • Knowledge of GDPR • Very good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written • Good computer skills, for example, very good proficiency in office programs and various operational systems It is advantageous if you have: • Worked within home care • Worked within healthcare Personal Qualities We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is proactive and has a good ability to identify development areas, take initiative, and engage the right key people to drive the work forward and achieve results.
