Job Responsibilities As an occupational therapist at a BUP clinic, you provide support for children at BUP who need assistive devices, help with structuring their daily lives, and establishing good routines for sleep, meals, and school. You help children become more independent and support parents in preventive work, providing both children and parents with information about functional impairments in conditions such as ADHD and autism, individually or in groups. During initial assessment visits, you have the opportunity to meet the child and family and conduct assessments of various psychiatric symptoms and diagnoses, then collaborate with other team members in conducting child psychiatric evaluation and treatment work.
