About the Organization
Rehabilitation is a regional specialist service with locations at five sites across Dalarna. Each unit offers regional Adult Rehabilitation and Child and Youth Rehabilitation with interdisciplinary teams possessing medical, psychological, social, and educational expertise. Rehabilitation has an important and challenging mandate to improve the lives of children, young people, and adults with congenital or early-acquired functional limitations, as well as their families. Our services contribute to functioning daily life, good quality of life, and participation in society.
We are now seeking a physiotherapist for Borlänge, though location can be discussed if needed. As a physiotherapist, would you like an exciting role working with patients who have various types of often significant functional limitations? Many patients you will follow over long periods, giving you the opportunity to get to know your patients and work with them to plan and follow up on interventions long-term.
Responsibilities
As a physiotherapist with us, you will have varied and meaningful work where you make a real difference in people's daily lives. Your responsibilities include assistive device prescription and follow-up, preventive and therapeutic interventions, counseling and guidance for patients' networks, and functional capacity assessments.
Your primary focus is the patient's movement ability and motor development. Working closely with the patient, family, and other team members, you will assess needs, initiate interventions, carry out treatments, and follow up on the patient's development in different environments. Through your work, you help patients maintain, develop, or compensate for their physical abilities, creating better conditions for participation and independence in daily life.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute educational initiatives based on the needs and wishes of our patients and their networks. Collaboration is an important part of the work, and you will have close contact with other parts of healthcare as well as municipal services and other stakeholders.
To ensure you have a secure start, we offer structured orientation, access to mentoring within your profession, and a workplace mentor. You will also become part of a regional physiotherapy network that meets weekly, offering opportunities for peer learning, experience sharing, and professional development.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Licensed physiotherapist/physical therapist
Valid B-category driver's license (travel is part of the position)
