About the Operations
Habilitation Services is a specialized regional service with locations in five places in Dalarna - Falun, Borlänge, Mora, Ludvika, and Avesta. Each unit has Child and Youth Habilitation as well as Adult Habilitation services. We work in multiprofessional teams with medical, psychological, social, and educational expertise. Habilitation Services has an important and challenging mission to improve life for children, young people, and adults with congenital or early-acquired disabilities, as well as for their loved ones. Our interventions aim to contribute to a functioning everyday life, good quality of life, and participation in society.

Then Child and Youth Habilitation is the workplace for you! These positions are permanent and placement can be at one of our facilities in the region. Do not hesitate to apply even if you are not yet a licensed psychologist, as we may be able to offer a postdoctoral fellowship position or a position as a psychology assistant. Job Responsibilities
As a psychologist, you will work closely with other professionals at Habilitation Services. The work is varied, as you will be responsible for psychological treatment work, conduct assessments, make diagnoses, perform functional evaluations, map needs, and provide individually tailored interventions. You will also provide therapy-oriented interventions as well as education and support to patients, loved ones, staff, and others in the patient's network. You will receive an introductory program, access to a mentor and supervisor, and will be part of a professional team with psychology colleagues in the organization. Travel to other facilities in the region may be part of the position and occurs during work hours.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Licensed psychologist, or if you are not yet licensed, you can apply for a postdoctoral fellowship position or as a psychology assistant. In that case, you should be studying or have completed a psychology degree program.
Driver's license category B
Merits:
Previous experience from habilitation services
Knowledge of various disabilities
Experience with interviews and assessments with good knowledge of testing methods
Experience working with children
Personal Qualities:
Since you will collaborate with other professionals, we place great emphasis on good teamwork skills, social competence, and personal suitability.
