X-ray operations have recently been expanded with modern facilities and updated equipment including conventional X-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography, and MRI. Job Responsibilities Would you like to combine the proximity and influence of a smaller hospital with the opportunities of a larger one? We are now seeking a radiologist who wants to become part of our dedicated team and contribute to the development of future radiology in Dalarna. Your primary placement will be at Avesta Hospital, a hospital where collaboration between departments is close, decision-making paths are short, and your opportunity to influence is significant. At the same time, you will be part of the entire radiology operations in Dalarna, with close collaboration and the opportunity to work at the regional hospital in Falun. With us you will have a varied daily routine with both emergency and planned operations. You work broadly within radiology while having access to the expertise and development opportunities available within the larger regional clinic. At Falun Hospital, interventional radiology and nuclear medicine services are provided, among others. We know that balance between work and private life is important. Therefore, we offer, by arrangement, the opportunity for remote reporting as part of the position. The clinic also uses external on-call reporting via Telekonsult during on-call hours. For the position in Avesta, there is no overnight on-call duty; on-call duty ends at 21:00 and parts of the on-call assignment can be performed remotely. Our operations conduct modern and high-technology diagnostics with a broad range of examinations for both emergency and planned care. We continuously work on development, quality, and improvement initiatives and view continuing education as a natural part of the assignment. Qualifications Requirements: Swedish medical license and specialist competence in radiology Good experience with conventional X-ray, ultrasound, and computed tomography (CT) Meritorious: Experience with MRI examinations (MR) Personal Qualities: We value good collaboration skills, a professional approach, and an interest in development and improvement work.
