About the Operation Welcome to our well-regarded rural health center with approximately 6,500 listed patients! We offer diverse activities including a district physician clinic, district nurse clinic, and specialized clinics in diabetes, blood pressure, heart failure, asthma/COPD, risk/substance abuse, and mental health. We also have maternal and child health services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, rehabilitation coordinator, and counseling services. With 75 km to the nearest hospital, we serve an important function for our patients—and you become part of a team that makes a difference. We have access to X-ray services where delegated staff can perform examinations, allowing us to handle a wide variety of patient cases. Job Responsibilities As a physician at Malung Health Center, you will work with both planned and acute care, meeting patients of all ages. We work across all general medicine areas including SÄBO/Home Care, BVC (Child Health Clinic), MVC (Maternity Health Clinic), and at the Youth Clinic. Supervision of physicians in training occurs, and the role also includes primary care on-call duty and standby responsibilities. Qualifications We are looking for someone who - is a specialist physician in general medicine - has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written - holds a valid B-class driver's license You have a desire to work long-term in primary care and feel confident in your professional role. You are motivated by contributing to development, enjoy collaboration with colleagues, and take responsibility for your role. Personal suitability is given considerable weight.
