About the Operation Department 11 specializes in acute surgery and upper gastroenterology, and we now want to strengthen our multiprofessional teams. We have a varied patient flow that includes everything from acute surgical illnesses and trauma to severely ill cancer patients. You will work in teams together with nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, and dietitians. This means you as a nurse will have broad support in your role! Job Responsibilities We are looking for a nurse who wants to work with pre- and postoperative care, which includes clinical assessments, ward rounds, medication management, and specimen collection. Surgical nursing also includes management of drains, wounds, and medical technical equipment. The department has supporting functions including specialist nurses with extensive expertise in surgical nursing, pharmacists, and patient support services. We provide individually tailored orientation. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, interested in surgery, and comfortable working both in teams and independently with varying tasks. You work responsibly and evidence-based in compliance with our procedures. This position is suitable for you if you are a newly educated nurse, but also for you who want to continue growing as we have great opportunities within the clinic.
