We offer a stimulating and educational work environment. Department 60 is a psychiatric care unit with a unique location and mission. Department 60 at Falun Hospital is a general psychiatric inpatient unit with 14 care beds. The department offers treatment with electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), and also applies user-driven admission. Here we care for patients with varying psychiatric diagnoses, according to different forms of care and with individually adapted care schedules. Thanks to our close collaboration with somatic care, we receive patients with complex comorbidity - where psychiatric conditions are often combined with somatic care needs. This makes our work environment varied, educational, and meaningful. We work in multidisciplinary teams with nurses, care assistants, and physicians, in close collaboration with psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, and other actors within healthcare and social services. This collaboration is crucial for providing our patients with the support they need. Work Responsibilities In Department 60 we work in care teams, divided into care team 1 and 2. As a registered nurse, you have a central and leading role in the care team. You are responsible for, together with nursing assistants and care workers, driving and developing patient care. The team also includes a department physician with whom you collaborate during rounds and in daily work. We work based on SafeWards and Meaningful 24-hour Care, which means a structured and evidence-based approach where we focus on the patient's needs, safety, and participation. The work requires commitment and is based on creating safety and trust. We offer a 4-week introduction adapted to your needs so you feel secure in your role. We are seeking an engaged specialist physician in psychiatry who wants to combine clinical work with supervision and operations development. Your primary task will be to supervise junior physicians in their clinical work. You will work closely with the physicians you supervise through joint patient consultations, medical assessments, and continuous feedback. At the same time, you will yourself be clinically active and contribute your specialist expertise to patient care. As part of the assignment, you will also have the opportunity to influence how the training clinic develops and is organized. Up to 40 percent of the position can be allocated to administrative and development-oriented tasks, such as: planning and coordination of junior physicians' clinical work development of the training clinic's working methods and procedures collaboration with study directors and operations management quality and improvement work related to education. A New Team with Education in Focus You will be one of two specialist physicians with supervisory responsibilities and will, together with a psychologist and a medical secretary, form the core of the new training clinic. Qualifications Requirements Licensed physician with Swedish specialist competence in psychiatry. Good knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. Good computer skills. We work in the medical record system Cosmic. Meritorious Experience supervising AT, BT, or ST physicians or medical students. Experience in outpatient psychiatry. Interest in medical education, pedagogy, and operations development. Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in supervising and developing others. You are a confident specialist with good communication skills and enjoy sharing your knowledge. You work in a structured manner, have a pedagogical approach, and appreciate collaborating with different professions. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
