About the Operation Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Region Dalarna provides specialized care for children and adolescents up to 18 years old with serious mental health issues and/or neuropsychiatric functional impairments. Now there is an opportunity for you as a licensed psychologist to become part of our team at the BUP clinic in Ludvika. The position is primarily based in Ludvika, but work may also occur at other units within the operation, which means travel may be part of the position. The role is suitable for you if you want to work broadly with assessment, treatment, and investigation in an operation where teamwork, clinical quality, and professional judgment are highly valued. There is room here to contribute with perspectives and experience in an operation that is undergoing continued development. Our mission is broad and includes, among other things, trauma, depression, self-harming behavior, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, sleep disorders, and neuropsychiatric functional impairments such as ADHD and autism. We work in a multidisciplinary manner to ensure well-founded assessments and accurate interventions of high quality. BUP Region Dalarna consists of five outpatient clinics and region-shared resources in the form of crisis teams, 24-hour care (ward 68), family therapy unit, and eating disorder unit. We are in an ongoing transformation where we develop our working methods to meet future needs in child and adolescent psychiatry. The BUP clinic in Ludvika is located at Ludvika Hospital, in pleasant facilities and a calm environment. Here works a professional and dedicated team consisting of nurses, case manager, psychologist, physician, occupational therapist, medical secretary, and manager. Job Responsibilities Neuropsychiatric assessments of children and adolescents in collaboration with other professionals Assessment of mental health issues within specialist psychiatry Psychological treatment, primarily CBT, individual and group Participation in team conferences and collaboration with guardians, schools, and other actors Qualifications Requirements: Licensed psychologist Previous experience working in teams and previous experience working with children and adolescents Experience with psychiatric assessments as well as treatment and investigation work At least basic psychotherapy training in CBT Driver's license category B Meritorious: Psychologist with specialist training in clinical child and adolescent psychology, clinical adult psychology, neuropsychology, or psychological treatment/psychotherapy You as a Person: We are looking for someone who is confident in your professional role and who values the clinical encounter.
