Personal Assistant Needed for Young Woman

Do you want meaningful work where your calm, sense of security, and ability to create structure make a real difference? We are now seeking female personal assistants for a 20-year-old woman who lives in her own apartment in Skärholmen and has extensive needs for support and supervision in her daily life. This role is suitable for you if you are confident, stable, and responsible, and have knowledge and experience with autism, intellectual disability, and challenging behavior. You need to be able to remain calm even in difficult situations and work preventatively to create security and reduce stress. About the Role The client has autism combined with moderate intellectual disability. She has no developed speech and communicates through sounds and images, among other ways. The client is very sensitive to changes and new environments. When she becomes stressed or anxious, she can react strongly and display challenging behavior, including self-injurious behavior. As an assistant, you need to be attentive to early signals, use low-intensity approaches, and be able to prevent and redirect situations before they escalate. A large part of the work involves creating a stable, calm, and predictable daily routine. You need to be able to: · follow the client's routines · be attentive to the client's signals and needs · work preventatively and with low-intensity approaches · redirect and manage challenging situations in a safe and professional manner · create calm when the environment becomes stressful · document and communicate important events and observations · contribute to continuity and security in the client's daily life. Work Hours The client needs assistance every day of the week. · Monday: 15:00–22:00 and 22:00–08:00 · Tuesday–Friday: 16:00–22:00 and 22:00–08:00 · Saturday–Sunday: 08:00–19:00 and 19:00–08:00 Work hours vary and include day, evening, and night shifts. During night shifts, there are 4 hours of on-call time. This means you will be present and ready to assist if the client needs support.
